It's your choice if you change names, and what your new name will be after marriage. Not everyone decides to change, with around 15% of brides choosing to keep their name. For those that change names, the vast majority take their husband's name in a straight swap with their own name. Brides may also add their husband's surname to their own to form a joined or double barrelled surname. The surnames can appear in either order either with or without a hyphen.
